The PES and IAS Chapters will sponsor a technical seminar on the topic of Gas Insulated Switchgear. The session will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at PSE&G’s Hadley Road Facility, 4000 Hadley Road, South Plainfield, NJ 07080-1192.

Gas Insulated Switchgear

Biography: BK Jun has worked with HICO (Hyosung) for almost 20 years. He is a specialist in gas switchgear design engineering. BK performs design engineering work for GIS projects including 800kV ratings all over the world. He is a general manager of switchgear design engineering division and a member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society.

Agenda

The seminar fee includes lunch, refreshments and handouts. Non-members joining IEEE within 30 days of the seminar will be rebated 50% of the IEEE registration charge.

Four hours of instruction will be provided. If desired, IEEE Continuing Education Units (0.4 CEUs) will be offered for this course - a small fee of $45 will be required for processing.
