Since the recent statistics recorded by air quality monitors revealed dangerous levels of air pollution in which Lahore is topping the charts by exceeding the safety limit. IEEE Sight launched a 3-day smog awareness campaign under the slogan Say No to Smog in order to sensitize the students in university premises to be well-prepared to avoid health hazards and take safety precautions.
Students from the whole university took advantage from this activity and enhanced their knowledge regarding the environmental problem. Pamphlets with detailed information regarding smog and face masks were distributed among them in accordance with the ongoing public health emergency.
