This years Engineering Fair, sponsored by  IEEE OKC Section Life Members other local Societies via Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, will be held at the Science Museum Oklahoma on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.  The Fair will kick off at 9:00 Am.  Welcome at 9:30, Competitions  start at 9:45.  Parents and University Students that want to support our Electrical Motor Contest Competition or any of the competitions are welcome but must register at the desk. School Team registration are at www.oef.org/programs/engineering-fair/event-registration.  Volunteers must register at desk on arrival to support the Electric Motor Competition to be held on the 2nd floor.

Again the 39th Annual OEF Engineering Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2020 with an inclement weather back up date of Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Science Museum Oklahoma. Please register https://oef.org/programs/engineering-fair/event-registration by 5:00pm on February 12 to provide ample time for the Science Museum to contact you with bus information and a lunch schedule.

Prizes and Distribution

6th grade to 10 grade students from all the state elememtry schools are invited to participate so contest winners will be announced on the Engineering Fair web page location Engineering-Fair.  Entries with the winning prizes will also be notified through their teacher that registered their group to participate.  First, Second and Third place winners in each catagory will receive a medal.  The Winning classroom of the First, Second and Third Place entries will receive a Cash award.

4. Ping Pong Ball Launcher Contest

5. Rubber Band Powered Vehicle Contest

6. Powered Drone Contest

7. Wacky Wonder Works Contest

8. Oil and Gas Extraction Contest

Over 800 Students, Teachers and Parents attended this day, we had 13 teams register with 36 people participating. High Speed was 8K rpms and 2nd place was 4.3K rpms.  8K was verticle design modified to work  horizontally. Unique design.
