New Jersey City of Science
Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is hosting the World Science Festival’s City of Science, event, on Saturday, March 21, 2020, from 9 AM to 4PM at its Rothman Center, 140 University Plaza Drive, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
CITY OF SCIENCE turns FDU's Rothman Center into a fascinating world of science exploration featuring large-scale exhibits built by the World Science Festival, activities and tours by FDU science and engineering departments, talks by scientists, and meet and greets with recent graduates. It's a great way for families with middle and high school students to become engaged with science and learn about opportunities for study in college and beyond.

nursing simulations, and programming robots.
■ LEARN about science careers through talks and presentations.
■ EXPLORE complex scientifi c principles and their real-life applications— like a spinning ride to learn about
Earth’s rotation or experimenting on an inclined plane to explore state-of-the-art problem in mechanics.
■ MEET and NETWORK with local science professionals and organizations.
■ ASK and LEARN from FDU students and recent graduates in Q&A sessions
