In order to enhance the knowledge on embedded system design, Robotics Club in collaboration with Department of Instrumentation of Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women and IEEE EDS Delhi chapter successfully conducted two days Hands-On Workshop on the topic “I-SENSO BOTZ for Embedded System Design” on 17th and 18th February, 2020. The workshop was financially sponsored by IEEE EDS Delhi Chapter. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Harshit Verma, a Senior Research and Development Engineer from “Robosol –for a cause”, a unit of AAKAAR, IIT Bombay, India.

This workshop was based on application of robotics for designing embedded systems. It focused on real life applications of Arduino Microcontroller. In this intensive workshop methodologies and basic techniques of working with Arduino were explained and hands on training was provided. The participants were encouraged to develop various projects based on microcontrollers using sensors, control circuits and motors with intelligent systems.

The two day workshop was attended by 51 students and 10 faculty members.  Participants  learnt about the Arduino Board &  software for embedded system design, embedded C and interfacing of microcontroller with various peripherals. The Valedictory session was conducted at the end of the workshop on 18th February, 2020.
