Student Branch Counselors Meet- IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section

Minutes of the meeting: 

  1. Branch counselors of ANITS, GVP, GVP(W), GITAM, SITAM, SASI, DIET, RAGHU, JNTUV, MVGR, AITAM have participated in the student branch counselors meet.
  2. A summary of various events and activities held in the past on eyebrows under IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section has been given by Dr. SLN Vice Chair, Hyd Section
  3. G. Sree Lakshmi, SAC Chair, Hyd Section, interacted with all the branch counselors and informed them to submit their plan of action for 2020 by 28th Jan 2020.
  4. Remaining SB counselors were also informed to make use of the vast range of financial grants available through various chapters and societies under IEEE.
  5. SB Counsellor was advised to organize at least six events per year and more for getting rebate and for retaining their SB active.
  6. SAC Chair, Hyderabad informed all the SBs to submit their annual report on or before Feb 1st, 2020 to receive their rebate amounts.
  7. Present counselors contact details collected to add them to the Branch Counselors Whtsapp group for better communication.
  8. Committee of SAC said that an enotice will be circulated to all the IEEE student members to invite volunteers at Section and Sub Section Level so that SN members and Joint SSR form Sub Section could be picked for the year 2020. SB Counsellors were told to recommend deserving candidates for their SB.
  9. All the SBs are also advised to submit their revised list of Counselors, student chair along with bank account details to the secretary, copy to SAC, Hyderabad, and SAC coordinator, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section.
  10. All the members were advised to increase the No. of society memberships and start new Societies under their student branches that increase volunteer base for SB as well more people of SB get benefited.
