Matej Pacha of NXP Semiconductors

Biography:

Electric traction and drives specialist, focused on energy consumption and efficiency. He has 10-year experience as a performance engineer at CZLOKO (Czech manufacturer of locomotives), involved in more than 15 successful locomotive projects delivered to many countries. He is also a senior lecturer at the University of Zilina, where he teaches embedded systems programming and electric traction. Currently, he is a Systems and applications engineer in NXP Semiconductors, working with the 3-phase AC drives technology and algorithms for automotive industry. Matej Pacha started his IEEE membership as a graduate student in 2009. He was a forming member of IAS/IES Joint Chapter of Czechoslovakia Section, where he served as a treasurer, chair and vice-chair during 2010 - 2015. Since 2014 he is a member of Chapter and Membership Development Committee of Industry Applications Society. In 2015-18 he has been Czechoslovakia Section Chair and his membership has been elevated to Senior Member.
