Christopher Sanderson Christopher Sanderson of IEEE

Biography:

Christopher Sanderson has been recognized and cited in many publications as operations practitioner in Six Sigma quality and Change Mangement principals and is a leading authority within this field. He has consulted with many of the world’s top companies General Electric (GE), SIEMENS, Asea Brown Bove (ABB) and has been a featured guest speaker with a number of organizations. In addition, he has been recognized by Texas Gulf Coast Association Healthcare Quality (TGCAHQ), Houston LEAN Six Sigma Professionals (HLSSP), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American Society for Quality (ASQ) with a number of achievements in operations excellence to the quality profession and notable contributions to those societies. At the present time, Christopher is an Account Manager with HV Sales Company and a contributing consultant with iSigma Group.

As contributing consultant to iSigma Group, he served as a managing practitioner. In addition, he served on the Board-of-Directors for the Texas Medical Center Library and Chairs a variety of positions within IEEE. He is currently the IEEE Houston Section Chair and South Area Chair.   Christopher Sanderson was employed by GE and served as Corporate ACFC (At Customer For Customer), where corporate Six Sigma Black Belts were deployed to address their customers challenges with GE Subject Mater Experts (SME).

As one of the leading Area Six Sigma Black Belts at GE, he was responsible for operations, training, and development of advanced Six Sigma models and methods. As such, he was directly responsible for the global leadership engagement projects, implementation, and deployment of Six Sigma at those ACFC customers. His activity was focused on product quality, change management, performance, and cost reduction.

Prior to beginning his professional career, he was commissioned into the U.S. Army Corps as a Second Lieutenant. His tour of duty included serving as an Air Defense Artillery Officer and later as an executive officer and served as an Enlisted Non-Commissioned Officer with multiple Honor Tours of Duty.

He has been recognized by his senior management for his performance and community service, in which he has received multiple Chairmanship awards for Community Service from Schneider Electric, GE, and SIEMENS.
