An Introduction to Quantum Physics and Quantum Computing
This talk will cover the mathematics behind key concepts in quantum physics, and how they translate into computational processing in quantum computers. The talk will cover areas related to differential equations, quantum states, quantum superposition and entanglement, tensor products, quantum gates, and quantum computation. An Introduction to Quantum Physics and Quantum Computing
Biography:
Dilip Krishnaswamy serves as VP (New Technology R&D) at Reliance Jio Platforms Ltd. He is also presently a Fellow at the Center for the 4th Industrial Revolution at the World Economic Forum. He has a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has worked at Intel, Qualcomm Research, and IBM Research and has taught at UC Davis. He is an inventor on 60+ granted US patents, and has authored 70+ publications. He is a BTech (electronics and communications engineering) alumnus of IIT Madras.
