BMSCE IEEE PES-An online hackathon on the theme "Building effective solutions to win the battle against COVID19"
BMSCE organised an online hackathon on a weekend from 5 to 7 June 2020 to beat the pandemic with the theme "Building effective solutions to win the battle against COVID19".
The registered team members were asked to join the given slack channel. The event kick-started with an inauguration on Cisco WebEx platform.
The complete Structure/Schedule/rules of hackathon were shared with the participants through a dynamic slide, which was constantly updated throughout the hackathon.
Ten themes were provided with description out of which the participants had to choose one.
At 11 AM on 5th June,the event started and followed by day 2 and day 3 with the final presentations. The judging criteria was elaborately informed.
Beside the main event, a house party was organized for the participants which was fun filled and educating.
With this, the event ended with top ten presentations and the all the participants got participation certificates. The winner and runner up teams received cash prizes. All in all, it was an amazing experience for budding engineers with innovative ideas.
