Meeting Minutes:
To resolve delays in completion of the YP website, i.e. to schedule a completion date for the YP website.
The creation of the YP website has been going on for a couple of years. The section representative organized three tutorials (8-24-19, 11-2-20 & 1-25-20) to teach volunteers how to do an IEEE Website. Despite all this help provided, several webmasters trienes have not presented their websites to the Section representative, nor sent an email letting her know what is causing the delays. Several have been replaced due to inactivity. The section representative and the section Vice Chair Meet virtually with Greg Valdivia held on 6-10-2020.
On 6-6-20 a meeting was called with all the Webmasters appointed for the Metro units. YP webmaster did not attended.
Other very important issues came up at this 6-10-20
Where and how to obtain the list of the hiring companies. Excellent point! YP is not like the other units: it encompasses every society. Also, it is not appropriate to target only YPs in any employment survey.
Solution: YP Employment chair to contact the other Metro chapters Employment chairs, get their lists and send it to members upon member their request.Per Greg Valdivia, his YP website was complete and the target date for him to send it to E. Miranda is by 6-14-20; he will be giving her his YP Website following the RAS design
