Presentation #1: Tackling Today’s Emerging mmWave Applications, then Moving Beyond into 6G
60 Minutes

Today’s emerging mmWave applications in the 57-71 GHz, 71-76 GHz, and 81-86 GHz frequency bands demand improved system performance to achieve higher data throughput using larger contiguous swaths of spectrum and higher-order modulation. Moving beyond 110 GHz and into 6G sub-terahertz research in D-band (110-170 GHz) and G-band (140-220 GHz) presents even greater opportunities and challenges. This webcast will discuss some of the key considerations in tackling the test and measurement challenges for today’s and tomorrow’s emerging mmWave applications.

Presentation #2: mmWave Communications Field Test for 5G, RADAR and Satellite
30 Minutes

mmWave is getting widely adopted by the communication industry for one important character -- bandwidth! mmWave 5G provides gigabit IP connection; mmWave band RADAR provides super fine resolution to address autonomous drive; mmWave High Throughput Satellite (HTS) improves network capacity and throughput.

Nevertheless, deploying mmWave presents unique challenges. This presentation discusses how to overcome the key challenges in each area with the Keysight FieldFox wideband analyzer.

Measurement Teaser: The Challenges of Maintaining Accuracy of mmWave Measurements
15 Minutes
Can you really trust your measurements? While many applications in communications and aerospace/defense are moving toward mmWave frequencies and wider bandwidths, there are associated challenges to ensuring accurate measurements under those conditions. We will discuss why maintaining instruments is paramount for ensuring the accuracy of these measurements.
