and technology transfer procedure for commercialization. The detailed abstract is
attached below.

Abstract: The need for better solutions and market requirements drive the
innovation process. The ideation to innovation path is an essential step as this
provides the base for the plan of research for the development of processes and
products. Innovation is an iterative process. Depending on the nature of the
contribution and the effects, there are different types of innovation, and it has a
significant role in research and development. Incubation of an innovation process
in a higher educational institution can be enhanced by inculcating several vital
aspects. Patents are ranked highest in the innovation index and therefore are an
indicator to growth in any particular area. Understanding the innovation process is
a critical step in the path to patenting. The talk will provide an interpretive
approach to this aspect.

A total of 35 candidates attended the live webinar program. Among the latter, the
number of IEEE members were 12, while 22 were non-member IEEE attendees.
