BMSCE IEEE PES-SudoCode 2.0
“First, solve the problem. Then, write the code.”
– John Johnson
BMSCE IEEE Power and Energy Society and Sensors Council conducted a 5-day long online codeathon 'SudoCode 2.0' from 20th July to 24th July.
'SudoCode 2.0' is a continued and much improved version of 'SudoCode' which was conducted earlier in the month of March. It mainly aimed at enhancing the coding and problem solving capability of the participants to help them learn and analyse their skills in the present situation and therby win attractive awards.
The registration for SudoCode 2.0 was kept 'individual' . The contest began at 6 PM everyday and participants were permitted to employ programming languages of their wish to solve the questions posted on HackerRank (the platform where the contest was hosted) within two hours for a duration of 5 days.
We saw an active participation of over 41 enthusiastic participants including IEEE and non-IEEE members.
The winners of the contest were :
First prize - Aman Jain
Second prize - Kruthik H M
The winners received prize money as well as shoutout on our social media page and all the participants who have been consistent with the codeathon for not less than 3 days were received with e-certificates of participation.
The participants had a productive time in coding and kudos to all of them for putting in their amazing effort. We'd like to thank our current execom who worked for the huge success of the event. We also look forward to organise more interesting and fun events in this academic year 2020-21.
