Women Opportunity in Space

Biography:

Zahra Marie Ronizi is from Miami, Florida. Throughout her life, she traveled around the world visiting numerous space centers and several space camps to learn more about space exploration and to pave her path to becoming an astronaut trainee. After attending multiple space academies like the United States Space Academy in Huntsville, Alabama and the Cosmodome Academy in Laval, Canada, she was sure that space was a career she wanted to pursue and she was able to start the real training to become an astronaut one day. She is a licensed International PADI scuba diver, a 2-time graduate of the United States Space Academy, as well as a student pilot with Sporty's Learn to Fly, currently training to get her Private Pilot’s License. She is also one of the crew members on an Astronaut Training Expedition that will be taking place in Iceland this fall where she will be studying geology and astrobiology. She will also have the opportunity to test equipment that was developed by space companies. Her mission in life is to inspire people to reach their goals and to show them that if the passion, courage and dedication is there. No time, age or situation can stop someone from achieving their dreams. She is currently training and working hard to reach her dreams hoping to reach as many people and to take on new opportunities that would put her a step closer to going to Mars!
