R1-R6: AP-S Chapter Workshops Meeting Event

AP-S AdCom approved additional budget for supporting student design contest (SDC) at local section level, this is good news for student chapters and student members. The funding is for supporting SDC events co-sponsored by local AP-S Chapters for the engagement of students, young professionals, and WiE. Chapter officers are encouraged to submit the proposals to their respective local Region coordinators, cc to AP-S treasurer and AP-S CAC-Chair for the fast approval of the funding request for organizing SDC. The template for the SDC is in the cateogry of Special Project, can be sent to IEEE AP-S Chapter Activity Committee (CAC) Chair, Dr. Ajay K. Poddar, email: akpoddar@ieee.org. The SDC and Special Project Form and preparation guidelines are posted at the IEEE AP-S Chapter webpage (http://www.ieeeaps.org/chapters.html).
