Businesses found it to be very expensive not to mention talent demanding to implement Machine Learning. But now the trends are changing and with ‘Machine Learning as a service‘ cloud solution in the picture, businesses can get more out of the cloud..Our second session for 2020 from the IEEE student branch, University of Kelaniya scheduled to be held via a zoom platform on the topic "How to use Cloud Platform for Machine Learning Projects  with expecting more than 100  participates who are interested to join our machine learning session. This interactive session will be conducted by Chathurike Dayal Athuraliya, co-founder of ConscientAI on July 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Biography:

CD Athuraliya is a co-founder of ConscientAI, an AI technology company based in Colombo, and a research fellow at LIRNEasia. He is also a visiting lecturer in applied machine learning. Prior to his current positions, he was a member of WSO2 Machine Learner team and a big data researcher at LIRNEasia. He has over 6 years’ experience in machine learning, deep learning and computer vision. In 2015, he founded the first machine learning meetup in Sri Lanka. He has research published at top international conferences and also been invited to machine learning conferences held at Google and OpenAI. He has supervised related undergraduate and postgraduate projects at University of Moratuwa and University of Sri Jayewardenepura
