Fiber Optic Network for Next Generation Multi-tenant Data Centers
About the Talk The talk will be about current fiber optic network design and implementation for the next generation multi-tenant data centers in dense urban environments. These networks will support the upcoming demands for Petabyte broadband and high-density data processing.
Biography:
Peter Feldman brings 20 years of experience in data center ownership, development, management, and design. He has been at the forefront of developing and implementing energy efficient technologies in the industry; previously, Mr. Feldman was the primary technical and business interface with companies such as United Technologies Power for their hydrogen and natural gas fuel cells, and CCHP micro-turbines for datacenters; American Superconductor and Superpower in the development developing superconducting cable technology for data centers. In addition, as CTO at RCGEES his duties included optical and wireless network engineering for rural broadband, IT infrastructure management and cellular network upgrades. Peter had CTO, President, and founding roles at several successful startups, including the TelX Group, a national leader in Multi-Tenant data center collocation. He is a member of a number of professional trade organizations, and has industry related patents.
Mr. Feldman holds a Bachelor’s degree from N.Y.U.
