SciTober Fest Networking event

Atlanta WIE and YP are partnering with Science for Georgia and the Georgia chapter of the Association for Women in Science to host a State of Georgia Science event. Scientists and friends of science can network, share ideas, and get involved in their community.
There will be opportunities to network with engineers and scientists across a broad range of disciplines, as well as the chance to pitch science ideas and have a voice in determining science-related legislative policy positions.
If you have an idea or issue you would like the Georgia Scientific community to focus on, pitch it at this event! This is an initiative of Science for Georgia, and involves sharing your idea in a speed round (2 minutes of impactful testimony) to get the attention of the community and potentially have Science for Georgia leverage their network to assist you with implementation.
