Automotive Software Cyber-Security challenges and methods

Software practical solutions for automotive Cyber-Security challenges are various, addressing one challenge may affect multiple areas in an ECU SW architecture. In this talk, we will go through the common existing Cyber-Security challenges in the automotive connected ECU system inside a vehicle, then will give a brief about existing software solutions including the AUTOSAR security stack. After that there will be an introduction to the authentication & cryptographic mechanisms used inside an automotive ECU. At the end we will go through some applications of handling a certain security challenge. The talk goes from concepts to application and it gives an overview about industry approaches in the Cyber-security field, so I hope you will enjoy it.
