MATLAB and Simulink Techniques for EEE
Mr. P. Ramesh is an associate professor in VNRVJIET and an expert in MATLAB. He is a certified MATLAB Trainer and he has taught the topics that were very much useful for the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering domain.
A Google form was circulated through social media and response was great. Almost about 140 students have attended the session and it was very interactive and interesting. The day-1 started with Introduction to MATLAB and the applications in electrical engineering. The toolboxes that will be commonly used by the students in coming future were introduced with on-spot usage. The speaker performed a few operations to show the demo of working and using of the MATLAB Software. Different topics were taught in the span of 3 days starting with the very basics. The last day also consisted of an exam that the participants had to attempt to check their knowledge. The detailed plan and topics of the webinar series is given below:
- Introduction to Toolboxes and Simulink: CS, PE, EM, PS
- Loop operations for problems
- Solution of differential equation
- Data transfer techniques and plotting
- Implementation of case studies in EEE
- Online exam by MATLAB Associate

Agenda
The main motive of the webinar is to make the student learn how to use MATLAB and run simulations. There is very much to explore in MATLAB software which will be useful for students. So it was a hands-on session where there is better scope for a student to practice and learn.
There was a good amount of participation from students. Many stated that they gained a lot from the session in the feedback form. We are happy with the response and are willing to conduct these useful sessions in future for helping out more number of students with latest topics in technology.
