Mr. Md K.M Chisti welcomed the guest and participants. Dr. S. Lakhsmi Narayan, Chair IEEE Vizag Bay Section addressed the benefits of IEEE and the topic of the day and importance. Prof. A. S. N. Chakravarthy gave a realistic talk on “Trends in Cyber Security and Forensics: Case Study and Tools” in the present situation in India. He addresses various cases of how people get cheated and how to secure themselves by not getting hacked. Given various tips in setting up filters and show the importance of them with Gmail. As a researcher how case studies on different Antivirus software and use cases of the virus were discussed practically.

Biography:
Prof Chakravarthy received Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore University, Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science & Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He is an Infosys and IBM trained faculty having good academic experience and research knowledge. He is member of almost 26 National and International professional organizations including IEEE, ACM, CSI, ISTE, IEI, IETE, CRSI, ISCA etc.; he has chaired 09 International Conferences and given 30 invited talks at various organizations & conferences within and out of India. He has authored three books and published 104 scientific papers in various International Journals and Conference proceedings. He is Reviewer of 10 International Journals like IEEE, IGI, Springer etc., Editor of 05 international Journals, Editorial board member of 15 International Journals. He has been the Technical Program Committee member for 36 International conferences. A S N received Best Professor, Best Academic Researcher , Best Computer Science Faculty at ASDF global awards in 2013,2014 and 2015 respectively. Received "Uttam Acharya (Best Faculty)" award by Indian Servers in association with Lions Club International, Telangana IT Association and Information Technology Companies Association of Andhra Pradesh in 2019. His research area includes Data Security, Password Authentication, Cyber Security, Cloud Privacy , IOT Security and Digital Forensics. He has Special interest in E-learning, Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs), Open Source and Edu-Tech Tools.
