IEEE SB UKF COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Parippally Section Distinguished Lecture Program on “ ROBOTICS TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES ”
IEEE ComSoc Student Branch Chapter of IEEE SB UKFCET in association with IEEE Kerala Section had conducted a Section Distinguished Lecture (SDLP) program on the topic ROBOTICS: TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES on 13th September 2020 from 6.00 pm to 7.00pm on the online platform Zoom Meetings. The session was handled by Ms. Athira Krishnan R ( System Engineer at Robotics and AI team, Research and Innovation Lab, TCS). In the virtual e meeting, introducing the speaker and welcome address has given by the IEEE SB UKFCET Counsellor Mr.Sumod Sundar. The speaker started with Trends and Opportunities in Robotics, it’s demand in Smaller Markets, Research Area, and then discussed about Collaborative robots, IIOT, and Carrier opportunities in the industry and upcoming world.
The session was compromised for 45 minutes’ presentation and 15 minutes’ interaction with the participants. The speaker has clearly addressed all the queries aroused by the attendees and wound up the session at 7:00 pm after the vote of thanks by SDLP Coordinator Mr.Shankar Jayaraj. There were 78 plus participants from various colleges including IEEE & Non-IEEE members. The session ended well by satisfying the attendees by giving out of a favourable outcome.
