Why IEEE Day is celebrated? IEEE Day was celebrated first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. Worldwide celebrations demonstrate the ways thousands of IEEE members in local worldwide communities join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow.


IEEE SB MMMUT celebrated the IEEE Day by organising a week long poster making competition from 4th October,2020 to 11th October, 2020 on Women Empowerment focusing on the title "Is Work-Life Balance for Women Engineers an Illusion". The partiipants had to convey their messages on this title through handmade drawing, painting or posters. The posters were uploaded from the official page of IEEE SB MMMUT. The total number of entrie were about 45 out of which 15+ entries were from other colleges and schools. And, total reach upto 3000+ people around the college.

Agenda

The prime agenda on the poster making competition is to depict that, women engineers also play a definitive role in the current scenarios of the world. The agenda was positively taken by the college communities, and many other colleges supported the fact.
