  • An Online Workshop on “Research Methodology and IPR ” under IEEE GLA University Student Branch and  Academic Collaboration MOU was held at the Department of Computer Engineering & Applications, GLA University, Mathura, under the patronage of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia on 08 September, 2020.
  • The work is open for research scholars and academician for writing effective research proposals.
  • The workshop on Research Methodology and IPR is an effort to enrich research scholars and faculties in IPR related areas, filing patents and common trends and practices.
  • The significance of IPR and Process for filing Patent. Outcome: After successful completion of the workshopparticipants: Understood the Meaning of research problem, Characteristics of a good research problem and Learnt the meaning of Interpretation, Techniques of Interpretation, and Precautions is to be taken in Interpretation for Research Process.

Prof. Buyya has discussed on research prospect in coming decades. Following are some of the highlights for his talk:

  • Enhance the quality of the research and research methodology and IPR practices.
  • What are the types of Research to pursue and mainly focuses on emerging research area like Blue sky research?
  • He also suggested to propose the solutions of challenging problems, the world is facing. Focused on the impact of proposed solution on the country, state, city and town level.
  • He briefs the experimental methodology and also explain cloud based overview.

Biography:

Dr. Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., a spin-off company of the University, commercializing its innovations in Cloud Computing

  • Dr Rana explained the effective way of writing the research proposal and the selection of the topic for research proposal that must have some impact over society.
  • He explained what the outcome is expected after completion of the projects.
  • He clearly explained what is to be added and not to be added in research proposal. Deigning of Objective, Budget and WBS.

Biography:

Dr Rana Completed his MTech and PhD from IIIT, Gwalior, He is having 31 SCI / SCIE and 22 Research paper in International Conference of Repute. He is having 5 reported, 07 patents and 01 startup.
