Modern Power Quality Analysis
An overview will be provided on what power quality is and how to evaluate power quality in real-world scenarios. We will introduce the most common causes of power quality issues and the impact of the power waveform.
This lecture is for power quality engineers and technicians who need to gain practical understanding of power quality theory.
In this seminar we will give an overview on what power quality is and how to evaluate power quality in real-world scenarios. We will introduce the most common causes of power quality issues and the impact of the power waveform.
When performing power quality measurements, national and international standards are crucial to guarantee that the power grids seamlessly integrate. We will present relevant power quality standards, and present the latest development in power quality measurement technology.
Next, we will introduce attendees on how power quality measurements are performed, and present the current state of the art in power quality analysis followed by a live demo as we demonstrate a typical power quality measurement.
Attendees of this seminar will be able to perform basic power quality measurements, analyze measured waveforms and identify the root cause of power quality issues.
