Biography:

Sujatha (Suj) is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and specializes in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.


Her current mission is to achieve successful adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science and Machine Learning Technologies in the Financial Services sector. She delivers strategy and Enterprise AI solution direction for top financial sector and retail clients.

Prior to Watson Suj developed architectures for numerous US National Security programs and led the federal application modernization for top Federal agencies - FBI, DOJ, DHS, US Courts and State Dept.

Suj is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology (AoT) Leadership Team. She is an IBM inventor and Board member of IBM Patenting boards. She is a regular speaker at Women in Data Science, Women in Technology conferences and was a Panelist at the 2018 Cognitive Bias Conference at Baylor University., and Keynote speaker at Montclair University, McFadden School of Business.

Suj is passionate about building IT communities through partnering, mentoring, career & certification coaching and delivering excellence within and outside IBM. Suj is a dedicated IBM technologist, inventor, mentor, author and volunteer (600+ hours).
