OTA testing of automotive communication systems at vehicle level (EU/US)
The amount and complexity of automotive radio communcations is increasing in order to support the provision of voice, video and data services to modern vehicles and ensuring their performance is critical. This webinar helps system designers and test engineers in the automotive industry understand the how to ensure the reliabilty and performance of wireless communication systems of a connected vehicle for real world use cases. An over-the-air (OTA) test concept is introduced and the associated challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. Testing according to the robust methods shown will not only give the engineers more confidence about their product but will also enable setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to subjectively and consistently measure end user experience.
In this webinar, you will learn more about:
► User experience testing for video and audio quality
► OTA setup for testing RF emission and immunity at the vehicle level
► Challenges and requirements for performing radiated tests in an anechoic chamber
► Optimal test plan creation
Biography:
Naseef Mahmud received his Master’s Degree in Electrical, IT, and computer engineering with a focus on communication engineering from the RWTH Aachen University in Germany in 2014. Since then he has been working as an application development engineer at the test & measurement company, Rohde & Schwarz. In this role, Naseef had the unique opportunity to work with and gain industry insights from some of the biggest companies in multiple industries. He holds multiple patents in the field of satellite, IoT, and Automotive testing. Over the years, Naseef has become a trusted advisor for the topic of over the air testing and coexistence testing for Rohde & Schwarz as well as their customers.
