Scott Becker of Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

Topic:

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (PTM) has made significant progress over the past 27 years with construction of new exhibit and artifact storage buildings, reconstruction of existing buildings, restoration of a number of streetcars, and nearly doubling the length of the Museum’s trackage. During this time PTM has also experienced dramatic growth in volunteerism and visitation base. The Museum’s “On Track for the Future” Capital Campaign will allow it to make even greater strides in providing an improved visitor experience with a new 21,000 square-foot Welcome and Education Center, Trolley Street, Barry Stout Park, and a new parking lot.

Scott's presentation will cover the history and future of the Museum, including key accomplishments, highlights of its fascinating collection of electric railway equipment and buildings, as well as its exciting plans for the years ahead.
