Biography:
Dr Rajib Ahmed is a postdoctoral research fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, Canary Center at Stanford for Cancer Early Detection. His research focuses on micro- and nano-
technologies to create inexpensive optical devices for biomedical applications. His research involves light interaction with nanostructures, and subsequently engineering of those nanostructures for advanced bio-medical devices.

Dr Rajib received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the dept. of Applied Physics Electronics and Communication Engineering, University of Dhaka in 2010 and 2012, and also studied a double
degree M.Sc. in Aston University, and Technische Univeraität Berlin in 2013–2014. Dr Rajib worked as a lecturer at University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) in 2011-2012. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Birmingham in 2018.
