Leadership -A live Example "Indian Army Perceptive
Biography:
Brig. MPS Bajwa is from Infantry ( Punjab Regiment) is a graduate from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington ( Tamil Nadu) with the following operational experience
1. Participated in two major Wars of Bangladesh (1971) & Kargil ( 1999)
2. Captured TIGER HILL ( a Strategically important Objective) during the Kargil War.
3. Participated in Counter Insurgency operations in Nagaland, Punjab & J & K .
4 . Was targetted by the terrorists in an IED ( Improvised Explosive Device) blast on 14 Aug 1998 at Sopore ( North Kashmir) & was seriously wounded.
5. After recovering from major injuries, returned to fight the Kargil war in Jun 1999.
6. More proud of 48 stitches on the body than the Gallantry award.
Post Retirement he was appointed Chairman of the Punjab Energy Development Agency ( PEDA) during 2006-07 and presently busy in social work especially for the Veterans & their families.
