Google Developers Group Kozhikode in association IIM Kozhikode E-Cell and IEEE Malabar Subsection and IEEE Computer Society Kerala hosting Women Techmakers: Kozhikode 2014. The event will feature panel discussions with female technology leaders, tech talks, keynote sessions, networking opportunities, and more.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day on March 8th, Google is launching a series of global Women Techmakers events geared towards increasing visibility, community and resources for technical women in our industry.

Biography: Dr. Anu Vaidyanathan is the Founder of PatNMarks, an Intellectual Property Consulting firm with offices in Austin, Bangalore and Chennai. Anu is an active academic whose research interests include Telecommunications, Computer Engineering and Intellectual Property Law. She received her PhD in Electrical Engineering at UC Canterbury setting the Department and University record in 26 months. She has been affiliated with both the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad teaching courses in Computer Architecture, Innovation and Business Policy. Anu is a regular speaker at forums on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Leadership. Having started PatNMarks right out of college as a fledgling start up, Anu has modeled the long-term vision at PatNMarks to provide cost-effective advice and a high standard of deliverables. Anu is also an award-winning endurance athlete representing India in long-course triathlon.

Biography: Chelle Obligacion-Gray helps manages and grow (now 40 chapters from 19 when she started) the Google Developer Groups in Southeast Asia. She started as a volunteer in 2009 eventually became a Community Lead for both Google Developer Groups in 2010 and Country Champion for Google Business Group in the Philippines in 2012 before joining Google. She's very passionate about Women initiatives or Diversity so she started the GDG Geek Girls in 2012 and launched the Women on the Web by Google for Entrepreneurs Program in the country last March 2013.
She also co-founded CodeFlux Inc. (one of the top startup software houses in PH) and was Chief Business Development Officer of Orange & Bronze Software Labs (another Filipino start-up where she established the partnerships with Google as the 1st PH partner for Google Apps Enterprise and 1st PH SpringSource Partner)
