Lighting solutions for disfecting area surfaces. Find out the power consumption of these light fixtures. Is there any Energy Savings?

In the age of Covid-19, there has been renewed interest in how light can help keep us safe. Germicidal UV (GUV) is not new but there are new products on the market and UL had finally released a safety standard. Denise will discuss what’s out there (including some potential visual light options), where different kinds of products can be applied, what they will and won’t accomplish and how to craft a plan using these technologies. There will be time for discussion of the designer’s role in applying these products as they are outside the norm of “visual light systems”.
