Biography:

Jonathan Wear has over ten years of experience with AZZ in various sales and management roles.  During this time, Jonathan worked with utility and industrial clients to implement solutions to their most difficult applications.  He participated in the launch of a newly developed AZZ arc-resistant switchgear design helping to educate engineers on the intricacies of testing guidelines and there impact on users’ interactions with the switchgear.  He gained experience reviewing and understanding complex industry standards as a nuclear applications engineer.  Jonathan holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from William Woods University.  He is Sales Manager for the switchgear division of AZZ.  Jonathan is excited to share recent updates on switchgear standards along with emerging technologies.
