Women in Engineering Forum - 2021
IEEE Spokane is pleased to present this very current virtual event, to inspire and empower women as leaders in engineering and technology. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear inspirational and empowering information presented by successful leaders from the Spokane Section of IEEE. Women leaders from Avista, F5 Networks, Mason County PUD, and Kestrel Engineering Group will discuss three main themes followed by a question answer period with the attendees.

- Theme 2: Proposed Procedures for the Best Utilization of Female Engineers in Solving Industrial Challenges

Biography:
Moderator - Sara Koeff, Avista. Sara has 14 years experience in substation design, maintenance, transmission planning, and generation design. She is the current IEEE Spokane Section Chair.
Forum Members:
Olga Mill, F5 Networks. Olga has 20 years experience as a software and network engineer.
Beth Andrews, Avista. Beth has 7 years experience as a system protection engineer.
Janelle Lee, Kestrel Engineering Group. Janelle has 18 years experience as a consulting engineer for industrial power distribution systems.
Amber Orr, Mason County PUD No. 3. Amber has 18 years experience in relay protection and engineering management. She is the current IEEE Region 6 Professional Activities Committees for Engineers (PACE) Chair.
