IEEE NSBM Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group organized an online session on Arduino for undergraduates of the university to understand the basic procedures for working with Arduino and explore further on their own. The workshop content was categorized as follows.

Biography:

Mr. Nimantha Dasanayake is a lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in the Department of Materials and Mechanical Technology of the Faculty of Technology, in the Automobile Technology specialization. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Moratuwa. He was a temporary instructor at the University of Moratuwa while working as a part-time Design Engineer at Thermal R Industries. He is currently working as a full-time lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. His passion is to explore the wonders of autonomous dynamical systems, especially in the robotic field. He was a part of the Falcon E racing team which is the first-ever FSAE electric car project of Sri Lanka. He played his role as the Aerodynamics Engineer in designing and optimizing the aero package of the car, Falcon E1, and currently, he is supervising the Falcon E2 team with his background in vehicle dynamics, multi-body dynamics, and aerodynamics.
