Webinar on Google Summer of Code (GSOC)

IEEE NCU conducted a Webinar with Ms. Priyanka Jain who already bagged GSOC earlier. She explained about the organization, students, and the mentors who participated in the program. She introduced the ways to get selected for the GSOC program.  She illustrated its advantages such as to experience real life software development, to test coding skills, deeper knowledge of the software, chance to get into google etc. She also explained about the program by Google to encourage students to get into open source software. She also highlighted the new changes in GSOC 2021. People in debugging, documentation, blogs, tutorials, design etc. can also take part in this Open source program. It was a successful event and this webinar helped us know more about GSOC.
