SAP Test Data Migration Server (TDMS) provide us with the functionality or an option to perform the system refresh or maintain the non-production environment using extracts of business data or master data, which will help any organization to minimize infrastructure cost and maintenance expenses also it will maximize the accuracy and reduced footprint of the test and training data. SAP TDMS ensures full business data consistency and reduced transactional data during the execution of the migration projects from the production to non-production system. SAP TDMS provides a new migration solution which helps with the system refreshes and covers the migration strategy end to end. SAP TDMS is a fast method of data extraction which populates your quality and training systems with real SAP business data or if we want to copy the data specific to company codes and want to perform the time sliced data copy, that can be achieved with SAP TDMS tool. So when we perform activity of copying production data to a quality or training environment and don't want our sensitive data or information to be accessed or visible, using SAP TDMS we can scramble the sensitive data. This is a strong SAP provided solution or tool which can be easily configured in the landscape. Along with this, in the newer version of SAP TDMS, a new approach of SAP Business Process Library is also introduced. Business process Library is a collection of specific business processes like article master, asset, accounting, material ledger, etc. So which allows us to copy specific article master from source to receiver system.

Biography:

My name is Harminder Singh and presently working as enterprise resource planning Senior Architect/Lead at Verizon Wireless. Over 10+ years of SAP Basis experience across multiple platforms and consulting and supported large implementations. Worked on SAP implementation for Verizon on central finance on a billion dollar implementation projects related to SAP upgrades, migrations, consolidations, enhancements. Established Standardized procedures, documentation, process automation and monitoring across the Landscape.  I played a leading and critical role for Verizon and have done numerous original business contributions of major significance and helped team in the multi-million dollar migration and implementation of 1ERP project from cloud platform to on premise which contains 10+ systems, 300+ interfaces. I have done research on the latest trends and emerging technologies and done publications on it. 

Currently I'm managing/leading the SAP Basis team of  people reporting to me globally. I work with them and conduct reviews as needed and coach the team to ensure compliance. I have done internal publications (Requirement documents) and technical architectural documentation for SAP Basis installation, migration and upgrades projects. I play a critical role in connecting with business teams and functional teams globally and architect the application based on the specific requirement.

Before that, I worked on the global SAP implementation for Johnson and Johnson and designed the architecture for Back to Basics and LER projects. This implementation and setup was done for BRAZIL, USA, CANADA, INDIA, JAPAN, Venezuela, Mexico, SINGAPORE. So the SAP application is used globally for all the countries.Also I'm a Senior member of IEEE and member of NSPE, IAENG and graduate from publons.
