Insulators 101

Biography:

Tim Van Remmen, Design Engineering Manager, holds responsibilities as design and management of LAPP LeRoy’s engineering team. Tim supports our regional managers in the field, with years of experience in industrial and manufacture engineering. Tim held a prior role as LAPP’s polymer design engineer, where he supported the evolution of LAPP polymer insulators and how LAPP responds to custom solutions.

Tim holds several active roles within IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA. Tim holds his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buffalo and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Leadership from Rochester Institute Technology
