Git & Open Source was the two hour expert talk event conducted under IEEE CU SB where we invited Mr. Amitesh Mani Tiwari as our expert. Currently he is the lead at GirlScript Chandigarh. It was a two hour live session. The session got started by the introduction of the speaker by the host and after that Mr. Amitesh started his session by giving the Introduction of  Git & Github and further showed a demo of Git. It was a complete live session and students got to learn the basics of Git & Github. At last but not the least there was a questioning & answering two way interaction between the speaker and the attendees. We chose “Cisco WebX '' as our communication platform and there were no interruptions occurring in between the sessions. There were 82 participants where 1 were faculties, 1 is host and 1 is student coordinator. As a whole we can say that it was a great event by the cse department and IEEE Chandigarh University Student Branch.
