Join the IEEE Richmond Section Pandemic Challenge!
Come join us as we undertake various projects to address the real-world problems that our community is encountering due to the pandemic!
The IEEE Richmond Section is hosting a Pandemic Response Challenge to develop solutions to real-world problems related to COVID-19.
Teams of Problem Solvers (high school students, university students, and recent graduates) will join with Mentors (more experienced engineering professionals) to identify and implement solutions to actual pandemic-related problems encountered by Problem Owners (organizations from the public and private sector who have COVID-19 related problems that can be addressed with an engineering solution). The Richmond Section will help support teams with funding and training. Co-sponsors will also provide support with goods or services and may also be willing to provide a certain level of financial support to teams.
We are looking for people and organizations to fill all four roles of Problem Solvers, Mentors, Problem Owners, and Co-sponsors.
To learn more about how you can become involved, check out the IEEE Richmond Pandemic Challenge webpage or review the IEEE Pandemic Response Challenge Flyer, then join us for our second Q&A session on Friday, Mar 5 at 3:30pm.
