Data is the most important ingredient in making effective decisions. But there are many disadvantages while dealing with big data. R is a language specifically designed for working with big data. In this workshop, our speaker will be giving an introduction to the basic rules and operations of R.

Biography:

Mitaxi Mehta is a faculty at Ahmedabad University and a researcher in the field of nonlinear dynamics with interest in diverse fields ranging from mechanical systems and speech processing to biological data analysis. She has worked at a number of national and international institutions from IMSc Chennai, ICTP Trieste and HRI Allahabad to University of Regensburg Germany and Olin College USA.
