This webinar will consider the roadmaps for electrification of aircraft and the technological developments which are going to be needed to make these visions possible.  These developments will include the electrical drivetrain design and the applications of motor design and power converter topology choices as well as the impact of emerging technology advances including cooling techniques, integration, system optimisation and wide-bandgap semiconductors.  The presentation will consider the technologies already developed for auxiliary systems on More Electric Aircraft as well as the future technological steps needed to increase the feasibility of electrically driven propulsion systems.
