Please join us for our Consultants' Network Members' Meeting on Saturday, April 24 at 9:00 AM.  Due to COVID-19, this will be ONLINE only. This meeting is only open to current dues paid Consultant Network Members. If you are unsure of your membership status, reach out via the event contact email (rob.klein@ieee.org).

IMPORTANT: You must register for this meeting before 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 22 to get the meeting Webex login/dialin information. The Webex information will be sent out to your registered email before Friday by Noon.

Please join us for our Consultants' Network Members' Meeting regarding a new governance document, which if adopted will supersede the existing Bylaws (reference copies are attached to "Event Media" for this announcement). This meeting is only for our dues-paid members of the IEEE Chicago/Rockford Consultants' Network.

An overview of the changes will be presented, followed by discussion and voting on adoption of new Operations Guidelines. The governance has been updated to better align our CN Affinity Group with its parent organizations IEEE-MGA, IEEE-USA, and the AICNCC. This update includes clarifications on the roles and responsibilities of its officers/volunteers, term limits, and the running of elections. The proposed updates have been agreed to by the board of the IEEE Chicago/Rockford Consultants' Network Board of Directors on March 10, 2021, and the Board recommends adoption of the attached version.

The Board would like to recognize former secretary Robert Stemp, who completed the bulk of the update effort, and the Bylaws Committee for their contributions.
