Abstract:

Digital Twin models and workflows have evolved to become increasingly important in power system asset management and network-wide optimization applications. In this presentation, we will discuss how to utilize the ETAP Digital Twin to model, design, visualize, analyze, predict, control and provide insight on management and performance of electrical power systems.

Bassem Ammouri

Bassem Joseph Ammouri is the Director of Energy Management Software in the USA. Bassem’s focus is developing and marketing Schneider Electric’s end-to-end construction software offering, by leveraging organically developed construction technology products such as LayoutFAST, and by evaluating and executing acquisitions and partnerships with independent software vendors, such as ETAP and RIB, which were announced in 2020.

Bassem joined Schneider Electric in 2018 as Manager of Project Execution for the Northeast US. He quickly established himself as a strong advocate for our partners, customers and employees. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Bassem began his career with GE Power and grew within the Industrial Sales Organization ultimately serving as the Director of Industrial Sales, prior to moving to Schneider.

Bassem holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Rice University. He, his wife Charlotte and their dog Filo live in Nashville, TN.
