This presentation will focus on signal processing techniques used in metal detectors. Contrary to the common conception, many state-of-art algorithms get implemented in metal detectors for detection amd discrimination. As the era takes its turn, novel algorithms and ground breaking techniques such as machine learning are being explored at Minelab. In this seminar, we shall cover topics ranging from the fundamentals of metal detection to the variety of signal processing techniques implemented in a metal detector. The talk shall also be used to discuss current job openings at Minelab.
