Five Days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Emerging Research Trends in Cloud Computing, IoT, and Blockchain Technologies
The IEEE-SB GEU Dehradun (STB06701) organized a “Five Days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Emerging Research Trends in Cloud Computing, IoT, and Blockchain Technologies” from 22nd February to 26th February 2021 at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. This FDP was organized by GEU IEEE STUDENT BRANCH, Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs), Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India.
The objective of this FDP was to make the faculty members aware of new research trends in current and upcoming domains like Cloud Computing, IoT and BlockChain Technologies. FDP covered the open challenges, applications, tools being used while accomplishing research in these areas. This five-day FDP was conducted in 14 interesting and very informative sessions exploring the research areas related to the above-mentioned fields. This FDP was mainly intended to make the faculties informed about the research that can be accomplished in two or more domains together. 70+ faculties have participated in the workshop.
Prof. (Dr.) D. P. Singh, Head of Department, gave vote of thanks and spoke about the importance of the FDP and encouraged the faculties and research scholars to participate in such events.
