RIT Roorkee celebrated the 1st anniversary of establishment of IEEE Student branch at Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee in our activity week.
The official opening ceremony took place on 27th March 2021 in the Seminar hall, RIT Roorkee.
The expert talk on Innovation and Development was delivered by Dr. Brijesh Kaushik (Professor IIT Roorkee & Chairperson of IEEE Uttarakhand subsection). RIT Students and faculties got the opportunity to interact with the Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik.
Students learnt about the various research , innovation and development.

Biography:

His area of Interest is High-speed interconnects; Emerging materials based device circuit co-design; Optics & photonics based devices and sensors; Image processing hardware; Spintronics-based devices and circuits; Quantum and Neuromorphic computing; Artificial Intelligence.

He has completed numbers of projects for DST, DRDO, ISRO, etc like organisations of Govt of India. He has delivered distinguished lectures at national and international levels.
