Joint meeting between IEEE Central TN Section and Music City Power Quality Group.

This will be a virtual online meeting via WebEx, including a presentation from Rodney West, P.E., Senior Staff Engineer, Schneider Electric.

The 2021 edition of NFPA 70E was released in late 2020, but the revision process for 2024 is already underway.  Additionally, NFPA 70B, the Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance is undergoing a major cover-to-cover rewrite and is becoming a standard (it was a recommended practice). The new standard will include permission to utilize modern technology such as continuous monitoring and predictive techniques to modernize EPM programs.  Participants will receive first-hand insight from a NFPA 70E committee member and the NFPA 70B committee chair into the contents of these standards.
