New Year’s Day, a worldwide celebration day, is rejoiced with great enthusiasm by the entire world since the first day of the Gregorian calendar, January 1, is universally acknowledged as New Year Day across the globe. Needless to say, New Year’s Eve is a day on which people own mixed feelings wherein on one hand, it is a time to rejoice the end of the year gone by and to embrace what is in store in the New Year whereas on the other hand, many are those who witness a sense of reminiscence as they reflect on the events that took place in their lives in the yester 12 months of the year. People welcome the year with a resolution of things they aspire to accomplish in the upcoming year.
Faculty of Engineering & Computing Sciences, Teerthanker Mahaveer University bid a befitting farewell to the year 2020 by organizing a New Year 2k21 Welcome Bash followed by fun games, dance activities. The celebration was started with cake cutting ceremony. Organizing team relished a sumptuous food during the celebration. The menu for the same was planned by the team who made sure that it catered to the taste of everyone present over there. After enjoying the delicious food, members of FoECS family participated in many fun activities including musical chair.
The funfilled celebrations came to end with special wishes from Prof.R.K.Dwivedi, Director & Principal FoECS for New Year 2k21. Prof.Dwivedi opined, “May the magic of a new beginning rejuvenate and glint our lives to rearrange the inner divinity and manifest our innate enlightenment! As the New Year begins and the old one ends, we would love to celebrate with altogether. It's time to say Good Bye to 2020 and welcome the New year 2021.”
The celebration was well coordinated by Ms. Neha Anand,Dr.Zareen Farooq, Dr.Sonia Jayant, Ms. Indu Tripathi, Mr.Pawan Shukla,Mr.Rahul Rathore.
